FAQ'S & Contact Information

FAQ'S

Q: Where do I go to pay my dues and when are they due?

A: We are contracted with Community Financials for all of our accounting, collections, and financials. You have the option to make payments in advance (pre-pay your dues). The due date for the annual dues is the last day of the first month of the year, January 31. After that date, late fees are added to the dues.

FAQ'S

Q: What is an Application for Home Improvement (AHI), would I need one for something in my backyard, and where do I get a request form?

A: The Application for Home Improvement (AHI) is the form required to be submitted PRIOR to initiating any work on the planned improvements. No work relative to this application shall begin until you have received approval. You can find specifics in our Governing Documents on requirements. In general, any homeowner considering improvements to their property, including your backyard, which affects the structure or improvements visible either from the street and/or surrounding homes, must submit an AHI (ex: roof replacement, swing set, patio, fence, pool, home addition, etc.). The AHI form can be found above.

FAQ'S

Q: What is "compliance" and what happens if I don't respond?

A: When each of us closed on our homes, we signed a set of Governing Documents as part of the purchase. These documents provide a common set of standards for the neighborhood. Monthly neighborhood inspections are made to ensure compliance of the Governing Documents. If you don't respond to notices of violations, your home may be subject to fines, denials of Applications for Home Improvements, and face the possibility of a lien against the home. The fee schedule is available by request of the VCE HOA Board.

FAQ'S

Q: How do I get connected?

A: There are social events posted both here and on the private Facebook group. These events are for the homeowners of Vineyard Creek Estates and their households.

You can also volunteer to serve on a committee. We would love to have your participation!

Attending a quarterly HOA meeting is also a great way to be informed and connected and give feedback.
